Style of Trading in Spread Betting
Mark: The proper style of trading in spread betting, if you want to do text, text book trading then you should really be adding to a losing position really. Ideally, if the trades going the way you want it to you should then consider adding to the position, but if it’s going against you, you shouldn’t really be adding to a losing position anyway.
John: Unless it’s your strategy. I think it’s appropriate in spread betting, you can be appropriate to do that if you want to take a position of a certain size and your first trade is to get on board and then it goes against you so you have a better price, I think that’s fair, if it’s your initial strategy, not so much if it’s something you do emotionally.
Okay. On the hoof I have never thought about it, but is there a binary which bears a resemblance to a limit entry order.
