A Bit in Spread Betting
John: Actually, I think the question about spread betting was a bit different from that, what he was asking as well as you can adopt a binary like FTSE would be down and FTSE would be up, which wouldn’t get stopped out. In fact that’s what you do quite a lot of the time Mark. I think it’s something you use as a technique. You look at the spread bet and you look at the risk parameters and you say well if I bought FTSE to be down say 20, I’m only risking 20 I can’t get stopped out. I think that’s the point of the question. I know it’s difficult as I’m reading it out in spread betting, it’s quite a long question, but that’s what you do isn’t it?
Mark: Yeah.
John: So the answer’s yes. Yes, certainly, binaries can do that kind of stuff.
