Perriello for Congress

Common Good for the Commonwealth

We need to restore the founding American ethic that we are better off when we are in this together. Since the original thirteen colonies joined together as the United States, through Civil War and the Great Depression, we have risen or fallen according to this simple rule: America thrives when we are united in a common purpose for the common good.

Shop the Fifth!

During our campaign across the Fifth District, Congressman Tom Perriello consistently expressed his commitment to working for economic revival in our communities. Our office is pleased to provide you with a holiday shopping resource so you can support local merchants this season.

Please visit http://www.perrielloforcongress.com/shop to fulfill all your holiday shopping needs this year!

You will find businesses large and small throughout the district that sell Virginia specialty products and other items that will make great gifts for family and friends. Many businesses sell their products online so you can buy them no matter where you live. Every little bit we do together will help start an economic revival that will move us in the right direction.

Tom Is Fighting For Us

Congressman Tom Perriello has received the trust of the people of Virginia's Fifth District and is working hard to bring jobs and economic development back to Central and Southside Virginia.

The Roanoke Times recently followed Tom on a typically busy day. In their article,"Perriello Takes Seat at the Table" they show Tom working hard to explain the recent stimulus package to local citizens.

Unfortunately, while Tom is focused on the serious business of working to restore our local and national economy, the National Republicans are attacking Tom for votes he didn’t make. This has led the Lynchburg News Advance to say “Shame on them.” The Danville Register and Bee also wrote about how distracting the Republican attacks are in their editorial "Campaign 2010."
